How to Use
Cooking Instructions In a medium saucepan (3qt.) bring 2 1/4 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Stir in 8oz of wild rice and cover. Reduce heat to a fast simmer (medium-low heat). Cook for 45-50 minuets (Do not lift lid while cooking!). Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork, salt to taste and serve. *If the rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. of liquid and cook longer **Wild rice can be prepared in a rice cooker following the same rice to water ratio. We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.
