How to Use
Hot cereal (stovetop): bring 1 cup water to a boil, add 1/2 cup muesli, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer about 7 minutes; remove from heat, cover, and let stand 2 minutes. Makes 2 servings. Microwave: combine 1/4 cup muesli with 1/2 cup water or milk in a large bowl and microwave on high about 3 minutes, stirring once. Makes 1 serving. Cold cereal: stir 1/4 cup muesli into 1/2 cup yogurt, milk, or juice and let sit 5-10 minutes. Swiss-style: combine 1/4 cup muesli, 1/2 cup yogurt, and 1 cored, grated apple (with the peel), then cover and refrigerate overnight.
