Overview
Thorne S.A.T. supports liver health with a combination of three botanicals - silymarin, artichoke, and turmeric. Silymarin helps maintain the liver's antioxidant system, while artichoke has been used traditionally to support hepatic function. Turmeric, with its primary component curcumin, also supports liver function, and in Thorne S.A.T., both silymarin and curcumin are complexed with phospholipids as Siliphos® and Meriva®, respectively, to optimize their absorbability.
The unique phytosome technology used in Thorne S.A.T. helps improve the absorption of curcumin, which is normally poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. This formulation supports the liver's overall health by providing well-absorbed curcumin and silymarin extracts.
